Vivo’s cutting-edge flagship device – the X21 made its big debut in Malaysia barely two days ago. Retailing for MYR2,299, the device is available for purchase starting today, 9 June, at all vivo concept stores, authorised resellers and its exclusive telco partner Digi. For those who prefer to grab the device with a telco plan, Digi is giving you the opportunity to take one home for just MYR1. With the Digi Postpaid 190 Plan that costs MYR190 per month, you’ll be able to own the X21 for just MYR1. This plan offers 100GB of all-day internet data quota with a 5GB rollover, unlimited calls and 1,000 SMS to all networks. When you need to go overseas, you’ll get to enjoy free roaming and IDD calls to 10 countries. In addition to that, you’ll get additional 5GB of internet roaming data, 60 mins of roaming voice calls and 60 mins of IDD voice calls. You’ll also gain premium access to Viu, iflix or tonton + free 5GB of dedicated streaming data for MYR5 extra.
Meanwhile, with a base Digi Postpaid 80 Plan, you can take home the X21 for a subsidised MYR1,529. This MYR80 per month plan will give you 20GB of internet data, unlimited calls, and 300 mins of SMS to all networks. As an option, you can add 5GB internet roaming, 60 mins of roaming voice calls and 60 mins of IDD voice calls for MYR15 monthly. By the way, if you subscribe to a GBoost add-on, you’ll be able to upgrade to 100GB YouTube data and extra 10GB for MYR10 per month. Note that all plans are based on a 24-month contract. There is device advance payment that you’ll need to pay for, but this will be rebated back to your account over 12 months. To recap, the X21 is vivo’s best smartphone yet, featuring the world’s first In-Display Fingerprint Scanning technology. The X21 is also a showcase of craftsmanship, with the device sporting a 3D glass back cover. It packs a 6.28-inch FHD+ 19:9 FullView Display with a slim notch and an astounding 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE chip that comes with AI and neural computing. In the memory department, the X21 is built-in with 6GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of storage. Camera-wise, the X21 gets a 12MP + 5MP dual-camera setup with Dual Pixel sensors.
