OnePlus 6 is fastest-selling OnePlus device ever

OnePlus 6 hands-on

OnePlus has announced that its latest One Plus 6 has pushed over 1 million units in sales in just 22 days. This is substantially quicker than the three months its took to reach the same number with the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5.

The company, which employs the strategy of producing one flagship at a time has allowed the company to focus on premium products with quality user experiences.

The company said annual device sales were up by 139 percent between 2016 and 2017.

The OnePlus 6 is currently available in 36 countries, including Malaysia. Locally, the device is available from the OnePlus official store on Lazada Malaysia as well as through authorised resellers like DirectD, Satu Gadget and Mobile2Go. The device is distributed officially by Mi Han Sdn Bhd.

As you may know, the OnePlus 6 is offered in three configurations:

As a quick refresher, the OnePlus 6 is a premium device packed with top-of-the-line hardware.

It uses an all-new 19:9 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED fullscreen display, with an impressive 83.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The beautiful display is housed in a sleek metal and glass body protected by Gorilla Glass on the front and back.

Under the hood, it rocks the most powerful SoC in the market today – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Performance as you’d expect is astonishingly fast, also thanks to the snappy OxygenOS that’s based on Android Oreo.

In the optics department, it rocks a 16MP + 20MP f/1.7 dual-camera system with OIS. Pixel size has been increased to 1.22 micron pixels, ensuring great performance in low light.

A big plus (pun intended) for the OnePlus 6 is the inclusion of a headphone jack and USB-C port.

The device has a 3,300mAh battery with support of Dash Charge, which OnePlus claims is the fastest charging technology in the market. A half hour charge gives the device a whole day’s worth of juice.
