The world has lost an icon. A legend. An innovator. A creative genius. A master presenter. An outstanding leader. A visionary. Some call him a fortune teller, for his foresight many can only dream to possess. He revolutionised how we looked and interacted with our personal computers, our gadgets, our phones. He changed the way we consumed music, movies, applications. He brought with him a deep understanding of technology, both human and not. He changed the world. He changed you. And me. He had the knack for knowing what we want out of our products even when at most times we didn’t.
Steve, I love you for your stubbornness, your attention to detail, your true understanding of human nature, the senses and our wants.
I’ll miss you for giving us elegance, simplicity, minimalism and beauty both inside and out. I’ll miss you at keynotes, making us excited and drooling like little kids.
I salute you for your bravery, your perserverance and resilience.
I thank you making the world a better place. I thank you for thinking and being different. I thank you for making us feel special, all the time, everytime.
Tears flow while I write this. I will never find the proper words to express how heartbreaking this moment is. While we knew this day will come, nothing ever prepares you for that exact moment. Nothing.
Rest in peace, Steve.
The world’s best CEO and an outstanding human being for this generation and many to come.
Your legacy lives on.
”Here’s to the Crazy Ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world – are the ones who DO!”
