For Chinese-language content fans, here’s some good news coming your way from Netflix. The leading video streaming service is upping its Chinese-language repertoire with six new licensed titles coming in the second half of 2019. Partnering with leading production companies including Sanlih TV, Changhe Films, Pili International Multimedia, B’in Music, MirrorFiction Inc., and China 3D Digital Entertainment Ltd., the latest Chinese-language line-up brings stories and genres from Taiwan and Hong Kong.
These titles lead up to the debut of Netflix’s very own Chinese-language original series launching later in the year. These new original series are Nowhere Man, Triad Princess, and The Ghost Bride.
Over the past year, Netflix has expanded its Chinese-language content library with films and TV series like Dear Ex, Green Door, Us and Them, The Wandering Earth, Meteor Garden (2018), The Defected, On Children, The Rise of Phoenixes, and many more.
