Microsoft celebrates Surface and Windows 10 momentum with local influencer campaign

Microsoft Surface Sessions

The Surface family of devices as well as Windows 10 are success stories for Microsoft. The Surface hit another billion-dollar quarter globally, while Windows 10 is now running on more than 300 million active devices around the world. To celebrate this success, Microsoft Malaysia recently launched a local influencer campaign featuring four talented, young individuals in today’s startup, technology and creative scenes.

The campaign revolves around how the Surface Pro 4 is the enabler for people to be more productive and creative.

Is it a tablet? Or is it a notebook? Could it be both? Well, it depends on the user, naturally. The influencer campaign, powered by the Surface Pro 4 and Windows 10 was devised to challenge the influencers to explore what they could do with the device.

Surface and Windows 10

The Surface family continues to post impressive sales numbers – hitting a second billion-dollar quarter in a row. Revenue grew 61% year-on-year (FY16 Q3 earnings).

Adoption of Windows 10 has been impressive, now running on over 300 million active devices across the globe. It was the first iteration of Windows that was offered as a free upgrade for users. This offer however will end on July 29, the one-year anniversary of its launch, so make sure you upgrade before it’s too late.

Microsoft gave a preview of what’s to come with the coming anniversary update of Windows. Upcoming features include Windows Ink – where the pen gets mightier OS-wide. Cortana will also be more powerful, as well as new DirectX 12 and Xbox Live features.
