After a three year hiatus, the adrenaline-pumping Red Bull Air Race World Championship will return in 2014 with Malaysia playing host to the first leg of the race in Asia. The thrilling race in the sky will feature the world’s best race pilots, and will be held at the beautiful Putrajaya Lake.

The 2014 Red Bull Air Race World Championship calendar includes a season opener at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Mar 2014); Gyndia, Poland (July 2014); Ascot, United Kingdom (Aug 2014); Dallas, Fort Worth USA (Sep 2014); Las Vegas, USA (Oct 2014) and China (Nov 2014).

The 600-hectare man-made Putrajaya Lake has previously held world-class regattas including the F1 Powerboat Championships.

Air races requires speed, precision and ultimate skill and you can expect the best when it hits Putrajaya air on 18 May 2014.
