Let your camera eat first: Win an OPPO R7 Plus with your most creative #OFoodfie

OPPO OFoodfie

Food unites. You can’t argue with that. And we, being Malaysians, do love our food. In fact, we love our food a little too much. But who can blame us? We live in a melting pot of diverse culture, sights, sounds, tastes. A treasure trove of the best culinary experiences. Nowadays, you’ll notice that it has become socially-acceptable to take snapshots of what you eat, before you dig in (and sometimes even after, for effect). OPPO calls this a food selfie, or #OFoodfie. While it’s kind of a misnomer since a selfie is really taking a photo of yourself, I’m sure it will be widely understood as a ‘food shot.’

In any case, OPPO believes that food, like smartphones, has the power to connect people. Diving into this, the China phone maker is running a creative #OFoodfie contest from 30 October – 14 November 2015, where you can stand a chance to win an OPPO R7 Plus.

All you need to do is snap a clear photo of what you’re about to sink your teeth into, make use of creative filters and effects if you so wish, and publish/share the OFoodfie on Instagram or Twitter, or both. You need to make sure you use the hashtags #OFoodfie #R7Series #OPPOMalaysia #OPPOxTantanfood.

OPPO has several recommendations so you can snap the best OFoodfie:

  1. Lift up your food, making sure it’s seen as if it’s floating in the air.
  2. Experiment with creative filters and effects
  3. Don’t forget the hashtags!

The contest allows for multiple entries so fire away. You can get more information about the #OFoodfie contest on OPPO Malaysia’s official Facebook page. Also, check out other user OFoodfie submissions at www.oppomalaysia.com.my/ofoodfie

The contest period runs from 8:30:00PM, 30 October – 11:59:59PM, 14 November 2015.

Remember to let your camera eat first!
