Lenovo today is arming the modern day workplace with smarter technology–bringing the new ThinkBook 14 and ThinkBook 15 to Malaysian small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Designed for the next generation workforce, the new ThinkBooks are mobile, flexible and great-looking productive workhorses.
With 60 percent of the workforce comprising millennials and Gen Z, Lenovo saw the need to explore more form factors and a more modern design language. Not in any way detracting from the Think DNA, the ThinkBook was born, with signature Think features and quality, and modern appeal.
The good-looking ThinkBook 14 and 15 first made their appearance at IFA 2019 in September, introducing a new product line in the ever-expanding Think family.
Housed in a sleek aluminium chassis built to Mil-Spec, the ThinkBook rocks up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, Intel UHD Graphics (optional AMD Radeon discrete graphics), a 14-inch FHD IPS display, up to 16GB DDR4 memory (up to Intel Optane Memory H10), up to 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD , and up to 2TB HDD.
The 57Wh battery delivers up to 12 hours of use, with support for 65W Rapid Charge (45Wh battery).
Connectivity-wise, the ThinkBook features WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and in terms of ports: USB-C Gen 2, 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1, headphone jack and HDMI 1.4b.
The keyboard is spill resistant with optional backlight with LED lighting and one-click Skype for Business; plus a large precision touchpad.
Being a Think device, it boasts several Think Security features including dTPM 2.0, a touch fingerprint reader integrated with the power button, as well as ThinkShutter—the innovative webcam privacy cover. It even includes and hidden USB port to store any USB dongles you may have.
The ThinkBook also includes a pair of 2W Harman Kardon speakers optimised with Dolby Audio.
