The Samsung GALAXY Note II is expected to be announced at Samsung Mobile Unpacked at IFA in Berlin on August 29 but this has not stopped specs being leaked out beforehand.

The Seoul Newspaper revealed (in line with earlier rumoured details) that the Note II will include a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. An 8MP camera instead an earlier-rumoured 12MP shooter is stated in the leaked specs, as well as 4G LTE connectivity and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
The GALAXY Note was an unexpected success for Samsung, selling over 5 million units worldwide. The 5.3-inch ‘phablet’ as it is loosely classified, re-popularised the stylus and also pushed the boundaries of how large a smartphone could be. The new Note II will be pushing this boundary even further.
