Announced in May this year, the stylish HP Envy x360 13 convertible notebook has landed in Malaysia. Powered by the AMD Ryzen processor with Radeon Vega Graphics, the notebook is the first of a premium-designed yet affordable all-AMD line-up HP is introducing for creators.
The new versatile notebook is powered by either the AMD Ryzen 3 2300U processor (up to Ryzen 5) and powerful Radeon Vega Graphics and comes with 8GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM and 256GB PCIe NVME M.2 SSD onboard.
It boasts a 13.3-inch FHD IPS BrightView WLED-backlit display (1920×1080) with edge-to-edge glass protected by Corning Gorilla Glass NBT. It supports HP Active Pen and Windows Ink.
Connectivity-wise, the Envy x360 13 offers one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port (10Gbps), two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a headphone/mic jack as well as a microSD media card reader. The USB-C port is compatible with DisplayPort 1.4 HDMI 2.0b.
It also offers 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2×2) and Bluetooth 4.2 (MU-MIMO) connectivity.
The convertible notebook comes in a dark ash silver body with a full-size island-style backlit keyboard and a HP Imagepad with multi-gesture support. It weighs a scant 1.3kg and 14.9mm at its thinnest point.
In terms of audio, it comes with Bang & Olufsen optimised quad speakers, complemented by HP Audio Boost.
There’s HP Wide Vision IR camera for quick and safe logins via Windows Hello.
The 4-cell 53.2Wh Li-ion battery delivers up to 12.5 hours of juice, charged up with a 45W AC power adapter. It supports HP Fast Charge technology, able to charger from zero to 50 percent in just 45 minutes.
Pricing and availability
The HP Envy x360 13 retails from MYR3,207 for the entry-level Ryzen 3 model, while the Ryzen 5 model with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics goes for MYR3,490.
