Honor Malaysia today unwrapped its latest smartphone to the Malaysian market – the uber affordable honor 7A. Partnering Shopee, the honor 7A and Phantom Green colourway of the honor 10 will be officially launch during the Super honor Day sale, happening on 8 June 2018. The sale will see discounts and bargains of up to 30 percent on all honor products storewide. It will also be the first time Shopee is running a brand takeover on its mobile app.
The partnership between Shopee and honor has so far been fruitful, kicking off with the honor 9 Lite and flagship honor 10. The honor 10 was a runaway hit and became the fastest-selling smartphone on Shopee after its launch.
Honor 7A
The new honor 7A is a super affordable device targeted at the mass audience. It sports a 5.7-inch 18:9 FullView HD display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 430 chip. It is offered in two configurations: 2GB RAM + 16GB of storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB of storage. The Redmi 5 has some real competition now.
In terms of optics, the honor 7A packs a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP selfie camera with selfie toning light. Impressive at its price point, the device supports Face Unlock, complementing other authentication methods including Fingerprint Unlock.
There’s a triple slot so you can use two nano-SIMs and a microSD card simultaneously.
With a 3,000mAh battery, it will last an entire day of use. Honor is rather proud of the honor 7A’s speakers which is supported by a high-power SMART PA amp delivering audio as loud as 88dB.
For karaoke lovers, the device offers real-time audio monitoring through earbuds and supports SWS3.1 virtual bass. This lets you replicate a studio recording experience and hear your own voice while you record your singing.
The honor 7A runs EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Pricing and availability
The honor 7A is priced at MYR479 (RRP) for the 2GB RAM + 16GB of storage model, and MYR569 (RRP) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model.
During Shopee’s Shocking Sale though, the phone will be offered at just MYR429.
Phantom Green honor 10
Also, the latest addition to the honor flagship family, the Phantom Green honor 10 will be available on Shopee and hihonor during the Super honor Day sale. This will take place on 8 June 2018. The Phantom Green honor 10 retails for MYR1,599 and will come with freebies worth MYR298 with each purchase, while stocks last.
