Malaysia is an important growth market for Honda and through the years, Honda Malaysia has achieved many outstanding milestones since its establishment in 2002.

The company rolled out its first Completely Knock-Down (CKD) model–the CR-V, a year after it set foot in the country.

It has continued to introduce popular models such as the Jazz, City, Civic and other models which become No.1 in their respective segments.

Honda Malaysia also introduced the Next Generation Advanced Technology in its line-up, starting with Turbocharged, Sport Hybrid i-DCD and Honda SENSING. Malaysia has the distinction as the only country after Japan to introduce Sport Hybrid i-DCD in its models after pioneering hybrid technology in Malaysia in 2004.

Let’s not forget various iterations of the Civic Type-R that have made it to Malaysian shores, first out of its Japan domestic market. It began in 2007 when Malaysians first welcomed the Civic FD2R.
