As announced by Sony Ericsson a month back, the Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 update for Xperia range of smartphones was expected to be released some time October. The Android 2.3.4 includes a number of updates, bug fixes and the introduction of video chat in Google Talk. Sony Ericsson has also added the ability to take 3D Panoramic photos on your Xperia Neo, a welcome edition to the already brilliant 8MP camera with Exmor R technology.
Well, good news for Xperia Neo users, Sony Ericsson has released the 2.3.4 update early! Users are required to use Sony Ericsson’s desktop software as OTA update is currently unavailable.

Google Talk with Video Chat (models with front-facing camera), updated Facebook inside Xperia™ functionality for enhanced like, share and discover abilities, 3D sweep panorama functionality powered by Sony, swipe text input, screen capture on your phone with easy sharing and USB on the go to turn your Xperia™ smartphone into a mini-mobile PC by connecting USB peripherals (mouse, keyboard or game controller) to Sony Ericsson LiveDock™ multimedia station.
