In a brief but concise official statement, Digi has announced that pre-orders for the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available starting 20 September 2019. You will be able to pick up the latest iPhone via Digi’s PhoneFreedom365 phone ownership programme or via a conventional phone contract.
PhoneFreedom365 allows you to take home the iPhone with MYR0 upfront payment and with 0 percent interest monthly instalments. You’re also entitled to a yearly phone upgrade and your phone will be covered by Digi Shield—the phone protection programme that covers damage and theft.
If the current offerings are any indication, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be categorised under Tier 1, and you should be able to pick up a unit from as low as MYR180++ per month. Tier 1 phones like the iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max are entitled to a free phone upgrade between months 18 to 24.
You will need to pair it with one of Digi’s Postpaid plans namely Digi Postpaid 120, 160, or 190.
The iPhone 11 on the other hand, like the iPhone XR, should be categorised under Tier 2. That means, you’ll be able to pick one up with a base Digi Postpaid 80 plan. Tier 2 phones qualify for a free phone upgrade between months 20 to 24.
For normal contracts, the iPhone will be offered at a typical telco subsidised price paired with a postpaid plan. You will need to pay for the device and advance payment upfront.
The iPhone 11 series officially hits retail channels on 27 September 2019. For the very first time, Apple is bringing its flagship devices to Malaysia just a week from the global reveal.

The iPhone 11 comes in six new colours: Purple, Green, Yellow, Black, White, and (PRODUCT)RED.
Meanwhile, the flagship iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max offer Midnight Green Silver, Space Grey, and new Gold colour options.
