Celcom offers iPhone 11 from MYR52 per month with EasyPhone

After announcing it was opening pre-order books for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max last week (sans any details), Celcom has finally revealed details on bundles and plans. And they’re attractive, I give them that. For starters, you can pick up the iPhone 11 from just MYR52 per month with EasyPhone Rent.

Earlier, Celcom announced that you can pre-order your device from now until 25 September 2019. You’ll be able to collect your order from 26 September onwards; pre-order on 26 September and get your device from 30 September. For online orders, stand to win Sky’s Dining for 2 and get MYR100 off your phone.

Celcom is offering all three new iPhone models, in all available configurations and colours.

As you may know, Celcom has three bundle options for you to choose from: EasyPhone Rent or Own, and regular device bundle. These are paired with Celcom Mobile postpaid plans including Gold Plus 40GB, Gold Supreme 50GB, Platinum 60GB, and Platinum Plus 100GB.

iPhone 11

With EasyPhone Rent, you can take home the iPhone 11 64GB from MYR52 per month with the Celcom Mobile Platinum Plus 100GB plan. Total commitment per month would be MYR240 per month. Alternatively, you can go for a lower plan, the most affordable being the Gold Plus 40GB plan that goes for MYR98 per month. Inclusive of the device rental fee of MYR79 per month, you’re looking at a MYR177 per month commitment.

If you prefer to own the device, opt for EasyPhone Own at MYR82 per month with the Platinum Plus 100GB plan. Total commitment per month is MYR270. Opting for a lower Gold Plus 40GB plan will mean a MYR98 (plan) + MYR109 (device) monthly commitment.

But if you prefer a lower monthly commitment, you can consider the more traditional route—a device bundle with the Platinum Plus plan. A 24-month contract, all you need to do is to pay a device price of MYR1,638 and upfront payment of MYR1,300 (which will be rebated in your first bill). The monthly commitment is only for the plan which is MYR188.

iPhone 11 Pro

Similarly with the iPhone 11 Pro, you’ll be able to pick up the device on the EasyPhone Rent option from as low as MYR96 per month paired with the Platinum Plus 100GB plan. Total commitment will be MYR284 per month. Alternatively, take the cheapest Gold Plus 40GB plan for a MYR221 per month commitment (MYR123 + MYR98).

On EasyPhone Own, you can own the iPhone 11 Pro from as low as MYR139 per month paired with the Platinum Plus 100GB plan. Total monthly commitment is MYR327 (MYR139 + MYR188).

If prefer to buy the phone outright, opt for the device bundle which is MYR3,008 (device price) mated to the Platinum Plus 100GB plan. There’s an upfront payment of MYR1,300 that will rebated in your first bill).

iPhone 11 Pro Max

For those with deeper pockets and want the best of the best, you can rent the iPhone 11 Pro Max from as low as MYR107 per month with the Platinum Plus 100GB plan for a total commitment of MYR295 per month (MYR107 +_ MYR188).

Alternatively, EasyPhone Own the device for MYR154 per month with the Platinum Plus 100GB plan for a total commitment of MYR342 per month (MYR154 + MYR188).

Under the regular device bundle option, simply pay the subsidised device price of MYR3,368 and upfront payment of MYR1,300 (rebated in your first bill). Monthly charges will be MYR188 based on the Platinum Plus 100GB plan.

Few things to note

The bundles are applicable for customers who do not have a current contract with Celcom.

For EasyRent (Own/Rent) auto-billing with credit card is a mandatory requirement. Auto-billing is applicable for credit cards issued by Maybank, Citibank and CIMB Bank. It’s eligible for Malaysians aged 18 years and above with a good payment record and must be a postpaid customer for more than six months.
