Alcatel OneTouch Flash Plus

The Alcatel brand returns from silence as it has just unveiled the Alcatel OneTouch Flash Plus, in partnership with Lazada. The new selfie-centric Android smartphone is made specifically for selfie-addicts and mobile warriors, packing a high-resolution front camera and a massive battery.

The Alcatel Flash Plus integrates an 8MP front camera that supports voice recognition. Just say ‘cheese’ during those selfie-worthy moments. The 84-degree wide angle lens will ensure you get more into the shot, including your family and friends. With facial-enhancement filters built-in, you’ll always end up looking your best.

On the back, there’s a 13MP camera with f/2.2 lens that should make some great low-light captures.

If you’re one who takes selfies all day then you’re in for a treat. The Flash Plus packs a massive 3,500Ah battery that will deliver a full day’s of juice on a single charge.

The polycarbonate body houses a 5.5-inch HD IPS display that comes with One Glass Solution (OGS) full lamination – delivering good image quality for reading, gaming, videos and more. It weights just 147g and is 7.95mm thin.

The Flash Plus is powered by a 64-bit octa-core 1.5GHz processor mated to a Mali-T760 MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM. Storage is a sufficient 16GB.

The device is a dual-SIM with compatibility with TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE technology.

The Flash Plus runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

You can pre-order the Alcatel Flash Plus at an exclusive offer price of RM499 from 25 August till 7 September from Lazada. Use the voucher code ‘FLASHPLUS’ to get extra RM50 off. After that, the phone will retail for RM549. Available only in Matte Slate.
