As they say, a picture tells a thousand words. On that note, AirAsia X and Sony Malaysia announced today the launching of a global search for the first ever joint ambassador to represent the leading travel and imaging technology brands. They’re looking for someone who explores any AirAsia destination and shares their favourite travel moments through their own lens.
The ten-week “Through the Lens” contest will run from 30 July to 7 October 2018. The winner of the penultimate grand prize will be declared the official ambassador for a year, which will include free air travel courtesy of AirAsia, an exclusive all-expense paid trip to Japan and Sony’s Headquarters on AirAsia X’s Premium Flatbed (with a partner), a Sony Alpha A7 III K (worth MYR9,433), and Sony h.ear on 2 Wireless Headphones (worth MYR1,093).
The ambassador will also be involved in exclusive product launches from Sony Malaysia.
There will also be weekly prizes of one Sony Camera RX100V worth MYR4,299 and a pair of all-in economy flights to be given out each week when you win Story of the Week.
The contest is open to all and will run primarily on Instagram. Contestants are free to use any kind of equipment to tell their travel stories creatively and visually.
