Acer Malaysia is bringing festive cheer to Malaysians with a MYR300 off discount to its popular Acer Swift 3 notebook. But a discount isn’t just all you’re getting. The Acer Swift 3 also gets a storage upgrade—from 256GB to 512GB SSD and will also come with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 edition worth MYR529.

According to Acer Malaysia, the Swift series is its best-selling range. The first batch of new Swift 5 that was launched a month ago flew off the shelves and have since sold out.

The Acer Swift 3 is powered by the 14nm 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8265U “Whiskey Lake” processor and bundled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM.

The slim, stylish notebook boasts an all-day battery life of up to 12 hours and comes equipped with a USB-C port and a powered USB 3.1 port so that you can charge other devices even when the power is off.

Connectivity-wise, it features Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) which can provide 1.7Gbps download speeds, 75 percent lower latency and improved security.

The notebook offers a 14-inch Full HD IPS narrow bezel display (1920×1080) with Acer Color Intelligence that optimises screen colour and brightness for different use cases—from watching videos to gaming. Acer BluelightShield technology helps to protect your eyes during long usage hours.

It also comes with an embedded fingerprint reader and also offers Wake On Voice (WoV) with Cortana.

Two variants are available: Acer Swift 3 with Intel UHD Graphics 620 and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 in Sparkly Silver coour.

Pricing and availability

The Acer Swift 3 Intel UHD Graphics 620 retails at MYR2,399 (was MYR2,699) while the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 variant is now available at MYR2,699 (was MYR2,999).

The notebook is available for purchase at all Acer official online stores and selected official resellers nationwide.
