After the launch of its touch-centric Acer Aspire device range in May, Acer continues to churn out more with the introduction of the all-new Acer Iconia W3 tablet, Acer Aspire Z3 All-in-One desktop and a refreshed Acer Aspire S7 flagship notebook. The Acer Iconia W3 tablet is the world’s first full-featured 8.1-inch Windows 8 tablet running on the Intel platform.

Acer Iconia W3
The Acer Icon W3 is the world’s first 8.1-inch, Intel Atom-powered tablet running on Windows 8. The snazzy tablet weighs only 0.5kg and measures just 11.35mm thin. The device pairs with an optional full-size Bluetooth keyboard that features a kickstand, enabling the tablet to sit upright for typing. It docks conveniently and lays flat for easy transportation.
Powered by a dual-core 1.8Ghz Intel Atom “Cloverview” processor, the Acer Iconia W3 provides up to 8 hours of battery life, to keep you productive all day long. It comes with the whole plethora of connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, microUSB and mini-HDMI. The bright 8.1-inch LED-backlit display supports 720p (1280×800) resolution and also comes integrated with front- and rear-facing 2MP webcams.
For added expandability, the Iconia W3 has a microSD slot (for additional 32GB storage.) The new tablet is available with 32GB opt 64GB internal storage options.
What’s cool is that Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 comes pre-installed on the new Iconia W3. A value of RM399.99. The package includes the perennial Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote apps.
Pricing and Availability
Iconia W3-810-2760 2G03 (without Acer Bluetooth Keyboard) is priced at RM1,199 and it is now available at major Authorised Acer Resellers nationwide. The Iconia W3-810-2760 2G06 (with 64GB SSD and Acer Bluetooth Keyboard) will be available at the end of July 2013. Available as options are: Keyboard – RM149, Cover – RM99 and Screen protector (matt/gloss) – RM49.
Acer Aspire Z3 AIO
The Acer Aspire Z3 Series is a stylish all-in-one desktop PC with a 23-inch 10-point touch display. The AIO features a 1080p Full HD LED-backlit display, giving a 178-degree wide viewing angle. The adjustable HD webcam with optimised audio allows flexibility in capturing images, video and doing video calls. The desktop also supports hand gestures from up to 150cm away.
The Z3 is Acer’s first AIO to use world-class Harman Kardon speakers, coupled with Dolby Home Theatre v4 technology.
Inspired by the Aspire M3, the Z3 integrates frequently-used I/O ports (on-screen display button, SD card reader, USB 3.0, 2-in-1 combo audio jack) in a capsule-shaped area at the front of the desktop for easy access.
The Z3 is powered by a dual-core Intel Core i3-3227U “Ivy Bridge” processor running at 1.9Ghz, that comes with Intel HD Graphics 4000. Built-in storage is set at 1TB. For connectivity, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 comes as standard.
For free file-sharing and media management, the Z3 provides AcerCloud, Acer’s cloud storage service.

The Acer Aspire Z3 AIO retails at RM2,699 and is available now at major Authorised Acer Resellers nationwide.
Acer Aspire S7
The king of all Acer notebooks is back with the refreshed Acer Aspire S7 ultrabook. The flagship receives the new Intel Haswell architecture, and the bang and whistles attributed to the new platform – more powerful performance, better graphics, up to 7 hours of battery life and Intel Wireless Display (WiDi). Acer has also redesigned the keyboard with longer key travel for a better typing experience, and relocated connectivity ports and power button further back to improve usability. The ZoomPerfect trackpad is also improved.
The new S7 features a new WqHD (2480×1440) display, bringing even better, crisper display.
Pricing and Availability
The flagship notebook will be available mid-August and pricing is expected to be around RM4,000.
