In short and concise press statement, Apple revealed that its latest small wonder—the 2020 iPhone SE will officially arrive on Malaysian shores next Monday, 11 May 2020. It will be available to order from the Apple Online Store and Apple Store app on the same day, and from Apple Authorised Resellers and select carriers later in the week.
The 2020 iPhone SE is the follow up to original iPhone SE introduced in 2016. The diminutive device catered to those who still loved their 4-inch screens while the industry moved towards much larger devices. It proved to be a hit thanks to its punchy internals and attractive USD399 price point.
Fast forward to 2020, the new iPhone SE encapsulates everything the “SE” stands for, only better. Much better. You see, the iPhone SE is really an iPhone 11 wrapped in an iPhone 8 shell.
Sleeper smartphone
The deceiving 4.7-incher packs flagship 2020 internals which includes Apple’s most powerful silicon—the A13 Bionic chip, which by the way, is the smartphone industry’s most powerful chip. This scorcher of a chip delivers undisputed compute and graphics performance, and powers the iPhone’s computational photography capabilities.
While armed with only a single lens camera, the iPhone SE still touts Portrait Mode, Portrait Lighting effects, and Depth Control found on the iPhone 11.
Because it uses the iPhone 8 shell, you’ll get a familiar but well-loved aluminium-glass body with IP67 dust- and water-resistance.
There’s plenty to love including all-day battery life, wireless Qi-charging, fast-charging, and superfast connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit-class LTE.3 with dual-SIM and eSIM support.

Available with several storage options including 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB, the new iPhone SE comes in White, Black, and PRODUCT(RED).
