Microsoft Surface Pro 4 pre-orders now available via Microsoft Online Store on Lazada

If you’ve drooled and gone gaga over the new Microsoft Surface Pro 4, then you’re in for an absolute treat. Kudos to Microsoft Malaysia, because the much-awaited Jesus tablet is coming to Malaysia. In partnership with Lazada, you can purchase the Surface Pro 4 via the official Microsoft Store online.

Microsoft is usually associated with operating systems and productivity software. But that fact is, Microsoft makes excellent hardware. From keyboards to mice to gaming consoles, the Redmont giant’s hardware team is pretty cutting edge.

A testament of that is the Surface family of convertible notebooks. What was a mere reference design for OEM hardware partners eventually became one of the most sought after and critically acclaimed hybrid devices in the industry.

Despite a lacklustre start, the Surface line has grown from strength to strength. The latest iteration evolves from the stunning Surface Pro 3 that has won the world over.

The Surface Pro 4 is Microsoft’s thinnest, lightest and most powerful notebook-replacement tablet yet. Being just 8.4mm thin and weighing 766g, it features a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display and powered by the latest 6th Gen Intel Core M, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. You wanted power and efficiency? You got it.

Impeccably built, the durable 2-in-1 device features the much-loved multi-position kickstand.

Microsoft has redesigned both the Surface Pro Type Cover and Surface Pen. The keyboard cover is more ergonomic, with optimal key spacing. It’s backward compatible with the Surface Pro 3.

The Surface Pen on the other hand features 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity to help you write, draw and doodle.

Thanks to the 6th Gen Core processors, the Surface Pro 4 delivers up to nine hours of battery life.

The Surface Pro 4 runs Windows 10.

Pre-order at Lazada

The Surface Pro 4 will be offered in six variants with prices starting from RM3,999 (including GST). Shipping is expected to begin from 19 November.

Pre-orders kick off on 19 October and available exclusively on the Microsoft online store on Lazada. This is the first time Microsoft is partnering Lazada in the Asia-Pacific region. There’s a special pre-order offer which includes a premium leather sleeve and screen cleaning pad.

Leading PC maker Acer also recently partnered Lazada to set-up an official online store.

From 27 October onwards, you can expect an even greater line up of product categories from Microsoft via Lazada such as Windows and Office, phones, accessories, notebooks, tablets and 2-in-1 products.
