Xiaomi continues the expansion of its physical retail presence in Malaysia with the opening of its second outlet, at Suria KLCC. This follows the opening of its Mi Premium Reseller Store at Queensbay Mall, Penang.
The new store is located at Level 3, Suria KLCC. The next planned store is at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya.
I paid a visit to the Suria KLCC store earlier today to check out Mi wares, which include the newly launched Android One-powered Mi A1 and Redmi 5A and other Mi smartphones; Mi Home products as well as accessories.
Unfortunately, many of the products like the Mi TV, Mi Purifier, Mi Notebook and Mi Rice Cooker are “display only.”
There’s a good selection of audio products including the excellent Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro and Mi Bluetooth Speaker. And if you’re travelling soon, there’s the Mi 90 Point Luggage.
I personally picked up a 10000mAh Mi Powerbank Pro (USB Type-C). In general, what you find on the Official Mi Store at Lazada Malaysia, you’ll find at the physical Mi Store at KLCC. There rest are unfortunately on display only.
