Features and specs

The Mi 10 series is what you’d expect from a flagship device. One of the key highlights is the quad-cam system headlined by the whopper of a sensor—the Samsung-sourced 108MP 1/1.33-incher with large 1.6-ultra pixel Super Pixels with OIS. On the Mi 10 Pro, this is flanked by a 20MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, 12MP telephoto portrait lens, and finally an 8MP telephoto lens with 10x hybrid zoom and OIS.

Mi 10 Pro camera system

The main camera has a laser focus module and also features AI 2.0, Night Mode 2.0, and dual-flash. The camera system is also great for videography, capable of shooting up to UHD 8K 30fps.

On the Mi 10, it features the same 108MP sensor except its mated with a 7P lens instead of 8P on the “Pro.” The rest of the optics are also tapered down sadly, which includes a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 1.75-ultra pixel 2MP macro lens.

Both versions carry a 20MP discrete in-display camera.

Audio enthusiasts will love the fact that both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro sport a symmetrical dual-speaker system. The best-in-class audio has been recognised by DxOMark Audio, with a score of 76, the top-ranked phone in the world at the moment.

In terms of design, Xiaomi embraces a 3D curved design on both front and back, with both sides protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There’s an anti-glare finish and frosted glass on the rear panel for the Mi 10 Pro, whereas the Mi 10 features a glossy back.

The sleek, curvy body houses a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED DotDisplay with TrueColor Technology. It offers unparalleled colour accuracy with a JDNCD 0.55 rating and a Delta E score of <1.1. The panel is impressively bright, too, with a peak brightness of 1200 nits. This while also offering 90Hz SmoothSync screen refresh rate. The display is also TUV Rheinland low blue-light certified and supports HDR10+.

Under the hood, the Mi 10 series engages the services of Qualcomm’s top-flight SoC, the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 865 5G Mobile Platform. The 7nm chipset is accompanied by ultrafast memory and storage—LPDDR5 and UFS3.0.

Keeping things cool is LiquidCool 2.0—Xiaomi’s advanced cooling system that comprises a large vapour chamber as well as multi-layer graphite and graphene stacks.

Overall, the Mi 10 Pro is a scorcher of a performer, returning a blazing 602,660 score on AnTuTu benchmarks.

Connectivity-wise, the Mi 10 series supports 5G Sub-6 and 5G Multilink (supports 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi and mobile connection simultaneously) as well as Wi-Fi 6.

The Mi 10 Pro packs a large 4,500mAh battery that supports 50W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and reverse charging. On the other hand, the Mi 10 sports a larger 4,780mAh battery and offers 30W wired and wireless charging, as well as reverse charging.
