WeChat Partners Chatime, Rewards Users With 1 Million Cups Worth Over RM6 Million

WeChat, the number one multi-platform social communication app in Malaysia, announced a partnership with Chatime, the top lifestyle tea retail brand in Malaysia. Through the partnership, WeChat users have the opportunity to redeem and purchase 1 million cups of Chatime drinks worth over RM6 million through digital coupons made available via Chatime’s official WeChat account.

 The win-win collaboration enhances engagement with customers via interaction and rewards.

Chatime Malaysia’s official account enables WeChat users and Chatime fans to receive latest Chatime Malaysia’s news updates and promotions. Customers can also send opinions and queries via text, voice or video messages.

Official Accounts provide a platform for brands to interact directly with their customers.

From 18 October till 27 October 2013, WeChat users can purchase and enjoy their second Chatime drink for RM1, with every purchase of a full priced beverage. To redeem the promotion, consumers just need to present the voucher on their phone upon ordering at any Chatime outlets in Malaysia.

Chatime is running a series of roadshows in the Klang Valley, Penang, Ipoh and Johor as part of the 1 million cup celebration.
