Watch this: Maxis #Sarikatahati – not a Raya film

Maxis Hari Raya

Technology should be about making things easier. It helps us stay in touch with loved ones, capture special moments, and more. It’s great if we’re savvy but what about for those who are slightly slower in picking it up?

We may be familiar with Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Google. But for some of our parents and the older generation, using new tech can be daunting, even if it seems the simplest for the rest of us. Point to ponder: when they ask for help, is it really about technology or is there something else?

Maxis Hari Raya

This reflection is the inspiration behind Maxis’ Raya film entitled #Sarikata–Bukan sebuah filem Hari Raya.

Warning: Might having onion-chopping effects.

Beyond the film though, Maxis will be hosting a different kind of Raya open house this year. It’s inviting customers and their parents to selected Maxis centres for light refreshments and to learn something new together.

Whether it’s setting up a smartphone, creating a Facebook account, or using chat apps, there’s something new to discover.

Head over to www.maxis.com.my/en/personal/edu-tech.html for more information about the Maxis Raya open house.

For all our Muslim readers, fans and friends, Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Drive safe on the roads 🙂
