Vivo V15 official pricing is out, pre-order now

Vivo V15

The official pricing of Vivo’s latest smartphone – Vivo V15 – is out. The affordable sibling to the Vivo V15 Pro is priced at MYR1,399, not too far from my expectations, as mentioned in my first impressions post. The Vivo V15 is now available for pre-order until 22 March 2019 exclusively on the Vivo Online Store: www.vivostore.com.my.

Pre-order buyers will receive an exclusive gift box worth MYR299 which consists of an Octopus phone holder, a pair of Bluetooth headphones and six months screen protection.

The device will hit retail channels in Malaysia from 23 March 2019 onwards at Vivo’s Superday Sale at One Utama Shopping Centre.

Vivo V15 pre-orderAccording to SoyaCincau, Lazada Malaysia is apparently also offering the Vivo V15 for pre-order (so much for “exclusively on the Vivo website”) via Vivo’s official store. With the voucher code “LZDV15” upon checkout, you stand to enjoy a MYR100 discount, bringing the price down further to MYR1,299 including free shipping.

I’m not sure how this works, because Lazada is also throwing in a free special bundle of goodies worth MYR699 that includes a JBL Portable Speaker, V15 Gift Box, Lu Han Pillow, Lu Han Post Card and a Vshare Milkbottle Powerbank.

Vivo’s latest good-looker sports a notchless 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 that boasts an impressive 90.95 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The all-screen front is possible thanks to an elevating front camera, first seen on the Vivo NEX, Vivo X21 and Vivo V15 Pro.

Vivo V15The front camera features a 32MP sensor which on the back you’ll find a triple camera setup comprising get a 24MP f/1.78 main sensor with Dual Pixel Focus and large 1.28 micron pixel size. This is coupled with an 8MP AI Super Wide-Angle camera and a 5MP depth camera.

Underneath its shimmering exterior, the device runs octa-core MediaTek P70 processor running at 2.1GHz, mated to a generous 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The device comes with a large 4,000mAh battery and vivo’s Dual-Engine Fast Charging.

It runs Funtouch OS based on Android 9 Pie.
