Leading free-to-play MMO developer and publisher Wargaming has released a video for World of Warplanes, providing insight into the process of sound recording for its flight combat MMO game.

Entitled “World of Warplanes. On Air,” the video shows Wargaming’s sound engineers recording engine roars and afterburner sounds of real aircrafts at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, California.

These real planes were made between the 1930s-1950s. Some amazing stuff.
