U Mobile Partners BChannel To Broaden Footprint in Enterprise, B2B and SME Portfolio

U Mobile has announced a partnership with Berjaya Channel Sdn Bhd (BChannel) to power 1,000 BChannel digital TB screens across Klang Valley, Selangor, Pahang and Negeri Sembilan with high speed mobile internet. The partnership is step to broaden its enterprise, business-to-business and SME business portfolio.

U Mobile’s broadband dongles coupled with its E28 plan will deliver advertisement contents across its 3G network to be displayed on BChannel’s digital screens.

Advertisement content is developed by Berjaya Group, U Mobile and participating vendors. The advertising network currently covers restaurants, convenience stores, shopping malls, pharmacies and other retail outlets. The 1,000 high traffic sites are equipped with 40-inch displays and HP thin clients that act as a media player.

The BChannel digital content network will benefit from U Mobile’s high speed 3G network, without the reliance on public WiFi connections.

BChannel will kick-off the first phase of implementation with 1,000 screens and plan to deploy more sites to other high traffic areas in the country.
