If you’re a U Mobile customer, you may experience network disruptions today, 17 May 2018. U Mobile admits it is indeed experiencing disruptions to its voice, 3G data and *118# services. The telco says it is rectifying the issue and is in the process of restoring all network services.

18 July 2018 – Please be informed that U Mobile’s 3G data service has been fully restored as of midnight yesterday. Customers have been instructed to restore all their network services by restarting their phones. Once again U Mobile apologises to its customers for the inconvenience caused during the disruption.

Reports of outages and service disruptions started to stream in from around 2PM yesterday, based on Outage Report Malaysia. The reports peaked at around 7-8PM with a total of 7,695 reports as of 11.53PM.

Reports continue to trickle in, although they have dropped considerably in the last 20 minutes. Recent reports mainly originated fromKuala Lumpur; Petaling Jaya; George Town; Johor Bahru; Ipoh; Shah Alam; Kajang; Subang Jaya; Puchong Batu Dua Belas; Malacca; Klang; Seremban; Kota Kinabalu; Bayan Lepas; Seri Kembangan and 136 more. Most affected areas appear to be around the Klang Valley.
U Mobile expects to restore all its network services by midnight.
