Sony‘s new line of BRAVIA 4K LCD TVs may be the most advanced and desirable yet from the Japanese consumer electronics giant. Showcased at CES 2015, the ultra-high resolution TV family is now available in Malaysia. Powered by the new 4K Processor X1, the new TVs boast advanced clarity, colour accuracy and contrast. Spearheading the lineup is the new X9000C series, which, at an incredible 4.9mm thin, is even thinner than the majority of ultra-thin smartphones in the market today.

The new models come in a size range of 43 to 75 inches, spanning four new series and nine models.

The new 4K Processor X1 is the nexus of the enhanced viewing experience. The new chip enables enhanced upscaling to 4K resolution and projection of native 4K images.

Combined with the advanced X-Reality PRO upscaling algorithm technology, the new TVs also include TRILUMINOS Display, for the widest colour gamut ever. These coupled with the critically-acclaimed X-tended Dynamic Range contrast enhancement provides peak brightness of LED, as well as the deepest of blacks.

Sony has embraced Google’s latest Android TV operating system, in fact one of the first vendors to bring Android TV-powered TVs to market. The latest iteration runs Lollipop and supports features like Google Cast and Voice Search.

As with any Google product, you’ll get access to Google Play for more video and audio content, Android apps and games. Android TV is Google Cast-ready and supports Voice Search. It is complemented by Sony’s unique user interface — One-Flick Entertainment that allows you to access content quickly and intuitively.
