Shell study: Malaysian drivers are calmer on the road than you think

What are Malaysians like on the road? How do you cope with traffic and stress? Shell, in partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London, conducted an emotion tracking study in Kuala Lumpur between 15–25 April 2017. Using the latest wearable technology, the study monitored driver emotions, behavior and lifestyle habits to identify their impact on driving efficiency and performance.

7 student teams from Malaysia vie for honours at Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2017 in Singapore

The Shell Eco-marathon (SEM) will be held for the eighth year, and hosted for the very first time in Singapore this year. As part of the Make the Future Singapore ideas festival, Shell Eco-marathon Asia (SEMA 2017) will also see the introduction of the inaugural Drivers’ World Championship Asia – where teams race head-to-head to see who has the most energy-efficient driver.

Shell celebrates 125 years in Malaysia  through art project featuring famous local artists

One and a quarter century. That’s a long time. Since discovering the first drop of oil in the “Oil Town” Miri, Shell Malaysia has fueled Malaysia’s progress through innovation. Malaysia has grown tremendously in this 125 years–from its humble agricultural beginnings, to a now bustling, developing country. To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Shell unveiled Celebrating 125 Years–an art project involving famous artists including the legendary Datuk Lat, Cheeming Boey, Sabek, Yap Hanzhen, Amey Sheikh Ali, Caryn Koh, Tom Powell, and Dmojo.
