Pre-order food at R&R areas with PLUS mobile app

With the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in force, some businesses and services are not yet fully operational or permitted. Case in point, dining-in at eateries located at PLUS Rest & Service Areas (R&R) along PLUS highways is prohibited. However, takeaway is allowed and hence the highway concessionaire is encouraging road users to pre-order meals via the PLUS mobile app for convenient pickup along their journey.

All PLUS toll plazas will accept RFID payment starting 1 April

Starting 1 April 2020, all 83 of PLUS Malaysia’s closed system highway toll plazas will accept RFID payment. RFID support will also include the LPT2 highway along the East Coast. This is not an April Fool’s joke.

PLUS launches own RFID system

Another Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) toll payment system? It certainly looks like it. PLUS Malaysia has just announced its own RFID system and it will kick off a public pilot in Penang and Kedah starting 15 December 2018.
