The curved monitor starts its inroads into the mainstream monitor market. Acer has revealed the XR341CK curved monitor – a sleek 34-inch IPS curved monitor featuring a stunning QHD (3440×1440) resolution with Adaptive-Sync Technology.
Introduced at the Acer Global Press Conference earlier this year, the Acer XR341CK is a stylish monitor housed in a zero frame design with a glossy back panel and aluminium metallic base. The display is height adjustable up to 130mm, and also tilt adjustable from -5 to 35 degrees.
Sporting a 21:9 aspect, the 34-inch stunner delivers ultra-high QHD resolution with a typical IPS 178-degree viewing angle. It features 100% RGB and 6-axis colour adjustment delivering consistent colour and detail – suited for gamers, design pros and photo enthusiasts.
What’s important for games though is the Adaptive-Sync Technology that works with your PC’s GPU to control the display refresh rate to eliminate tearing and stuttering. The maximum refresh rate is 75Hz, with a 4ms response time and 100million:1 contrast ratio.
Audio is taken care of by a pair of built-in 7W speakers with DTS Sound.
With such an immersive viewing experience, you’ll likely spend hours on the Acer XR341CK. Acer EyeProtect technology helps eliminate screen flicker and blue-light exposure.
If you need to multitask, there’s a picture-by-picture (PNP) function to allows you to connect two inputs to the monitor simultaneously and view contents side by side on one screen.
In terms of connectivity and expansion, the Acer XR341CX comes high speed HDMI 2.0, Display Port and USB 3.0 ports.
The new Acer XR341CX is priced at RM3,699 and will be available in mid-August 2015.
