Alongside its first-ever EXTRA BASS lifestyle concept store launch, Sony also introduced three new EXTRA BASS wireless speakers, made to bring the “boom boom” to the room. Whether you’re into EDM, grime or hip-hop, the new speakers will deliver exceptional deep bass and punch bass.
The new SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31, and SRS-XB21 offer portability, durability, super bass and Live Sound mode. Live Sound mode, possible thanks to the new DSP (Digital Signal Processor) will make you feel like you’re in the middle of a music festival, giving you a three-dimensional music experience.
A new “Party Booster” feature lets you use the speaker like an instrument and it can detect tapping from five different directions. This is thanks to a built-in accelerometer that generates sound and lighting reaction. Tap and enjoy!
The SRS-XB31 comes with multi-colour line lights and flashing strobe effects. The SRS-XB21 on the other hand, has a single colour line light.
The speakers come in up to five colours and now feature a new fabric material design that’s robust and washable. They have IP67 dust- and water-resistance, giving you peace of mind whether you’re by the pool or at the beach. It also has a rustproof feature so you can also drop them in the ocean without worry!
The compact speakers can deliver up to 24 hour of battery life. The great thing is, you can connect up to 100 different speakers together to fill a room, hall, or build a wall.
The SRS-XB41 offers a stereo mini jack, USB A port (DC Out only), micro-USB (DC IN), and DC IN; the SRS-XB31 offers stereo mini jack, USB A port (DC Out only), and micro-USB (DC IN) while the SRS-XB21 offers only a stereo mini jack, and micro-USB port only.
The speakers also offer Bluetooth and NFC wireless connectivity and pairing.

- SRS-XB41 will be available in Malaysia from 12 June 2018, in black, white, dark red and dark blue at MYR809.
- SRS-XB31 will be available in Malaysia from 12 June 2018, in black, white, two-tone red, two-tone blue and two-tone yellow at MYR569.
- SRS-XB21 will be available in Malaysia from 12 June 2018, in black, white, red, blue and yellow at MYR409.
