The second Asia-Pacific Outsourcing Summit (APOS) kicks off today at Traders Hotel, Iskandar, Nusajaya, Malaysia. The four-day event is organized by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) in partnership with Outsourcing Malaysia and supported by PIKOM, the association representing the information and communications technology (ICT) industry in Malaysia.
APOS’ principal aim is to create sustained value for regional integration. Plenary sessions during the summit are focused on trends, disruptions and predictions in Asia Pacific, technology innovations, outsourcings’ global value and the economic and social impact, developing a knowledge economy and more.
The Summit will bring together the world’s top outsourcing practitioners and business leaders, a platform to educate, network, share experiences and explore opportunities of outsourcing in Asia and to Asia.
The Summit will feature keynote sessions, educational breakouts, networking and more.
Today’s agenda includes a Pacific Rim advisory board meeting, OM research workshop and a networking reception for speakers, IAOP corporate members and VIPs.
The Conference proper kicks off tomorrow, including several networking sessions and exhibition forum.
On Day 3, there will be a IAOP “Outsourcing Hall of Fame” Awards Induction and an OM “Excellence Awards 2013” Awards Ceremony.
