55 selected early adopters of the Samsung GALAXY S5 smartphone were rewarded with special gifts worth RM200 by Samsung Malaysia last Friday, 11 April 2014. The surprise goodies delivered at five selected locations in Klang Valley and Penang in conjunction with the consumer launch of Samsung’s latest flagship.
The 55 eager owners were picked from Celcom Blue Cube and DiGi Concept Store at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Maxis Centre at Suria KLCC, Samsung Experience Store at The Gardens Mall and Gurney Paragon Mall Penang.
The GALAXY S5 is Samsung’s latest, “people-inspired” phone that goes back to basics to complement every aspect of consumers’ lifestyle. The GALAXY S5 is built on five core pillars – fun, fit, life, speed and style.
Announced to the press on xx March, the GALAXY S5 is powered by the fastest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor to date, the quad-core 2.5Ghz with a highly improved 16MP camera. The GALAXY S5 also has a heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner built-in.

The GALAXY S5 along with the new Gear 2 and Gear Fit are available at all Samsung Experience Stores nationwide, as well as through telco partners – Celcom, DiGi and Maxis.
Devices will also be available at all Malaysian retailers by the end of the month. The flagship smartphone will now be available in 125 countries including US, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and most Asian markets.
The GALAXY S5 retails at RM2,399 while the Gear 2 and Gear Fit are prices at RM899 and RM599 respectively.
