Thousands throng Galaxy S10 road show, phone officially goes on sale today

The latest Samsung Galaxy S10 officially hits retail channels today in Malaysia. As you may know, Samsung Malaysia is celebrating the arrival of its flagship smartphone series with a three-day road show in the Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru. In Mid Valley, a massive crowd of 1,000 people gathered to take advantage of first sales and bundled goodies which include the Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch Active and Samsung Screen Protection.

Samsung Galaxy S10 road showAccording to Samsung, people started to queue as early as 4AM. The first in line at Mid Valley was Mohamed Ithof Ali, 21, an international student from the Maldives. He arrived in the wee hours of the morning together with his friend, Ali Rishwan, also aged 21.

Samsung Galaxy S10 road showMohamad Ithof bought the Samsung Galaxy S10+ with 128GB and took up the option to get MYR1,000 off for a second unit. The first 500 buyers get a “Golden Ticket” to purchase a second unit for a discount.

His friend Ali purchased the Galaxy S10+ 512GB and a Galaxy S10e as part of his purchase-with-purchase option.

It pays to be early. If you purchase the Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10+ 128GB, you’ll receive free Galaxy Buds and Samsung Screen Protection Plus worth MYR779. With the purchase of the top-of-the-line Galaxy S10+ 512GB, you’ll receive a Galaxy Watch Active and Samsung Screen Protection Plus worth MYR1,079. If you purchase the Galaxy S10e, you’ll receive a pair of Galaxy Buds.
