As you may know, the Samsung Galaxy Note20 series is now available for pre-order and will officially hit retail channels on 21 August 2020. While one would typically head over to the nearest Samsung store or authorised reseller to get a bit of hands-on time with the device before purchase, the ongoing pandemic may deter some from wanting to visit physical stores. There is another way though, at least in Singapore.
As announced by Samsung Singapore, the Korean electronics giant is running a Galaxy Test Drive programme which enables you to touch and feel the Galaxy Note20 or Note20 Ultra at home. The programme is offered for free to the public. You can book the test drive via the Samsung website. The programme runs from 6 August until 6 September 2020.
Each Galaxy Test Drive is a 15-minute session. A delivery personnel will deliver the test drive kit to your home. The kit contains one live unit plus additional dummy sets to showcase the different colour options. With the kit are also dummy units of the Galaxy Buds+ and Buds Live as well as a UV Steriliser and LED View Cover.
As the delivery personnel is not a Samsung product specialist, he/she may not have the full knowledge of the products. If you have further enquiries you can reach out to Samsung vPromoters or through the Samsung Academy and toll-free 1-800-GALAXYS line.
To ensure your safety, Samsung has put in place thorough and strict measures including device disinfection after every test drive. All staff are masked at all times and are required to sanitise their hands before every test drive.
In Singapore, the Galaxy Note20 Series will be going on sale on 21 August 2020, the same time as Malaysia. Similarly with Malaysia, Singapore Note20 Ultra buyers will get a free Galaxy Buds Live while Galaxy Note20/Note20 5G buyers will receive free Galaxy Buds+ true wireless earbuds.
