Samsung is set to unveil its latest lineup of devices in its Galaxy A family tonight in Bangkok, Thailand. Initially believed to be the Galaxy A90, clues now point to the A80 and possibly several other A Series models.
Rumours also point to a 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen, triple camera setup with 48MP f/2.0 main sensor, 8MP f/2.4 secondary sensor and a ToF (time-of-flight) camera, a mid-range Snapdragon 7150 chipset and a 3,700mAh battery. The phone is believed to sport an all-screen design.
It looks like Samsung is aggressively expanding its mid-range lineup to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor and OPPO. This latest launch rides on the back of the Galaxy A30 and A50 launched last month.
Samsung will live stream the A Series launch on its website and Facebook page. For K-Pop fans, popular all-girl group Black Pink will be performing during the big unveil.
Here’s how to catch the livestream tonight at 8PM (MYT), 10 April 2019:
