The French have done it again. Another spicy and sexy looking virtual racer is heading to the latest Gran Turismo Sport.
The original L500 R Vision Gran Turismo concept was a real head turner. This year, Peugeot has made an evolution and successor of the former virtual racer. The new Peugeot L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo is designed to give better performance whilst adopting the French car maker’s latest design language.
Under the skin, the L750 R uses a combination of a petrol engine and an electric motor. The former makes 580PS while the latter churns out another 170PS, creating a combined output of 750PS (739bhp), hence the name.
The virtual concept features an innovative dual-circuit hydraulic braking system, carbon disc brakes, front and rear suspensions that alter the height of the car according to the speed as well as forged aluminium wheels.
The L750 R utilises an all-carbon fibre body that enables to the car to weigh in at just 825kg. That in comparison puts it 175kg lighter than the older L500 R.
The new L750 R will be available exclusively in the PS4 Gran Turismo Sport. Additionally, Peugeot is also throwing in an online 24-hour distance race on their official Twitter account.
Gran Turismo Sport for the PlayStation 4 will be available on 17 November 2017 (US-time) and will include 19 circuits and 27 different track layouts.
