The next generation Apple iPhone 7 has been heavily rumoured to not feature a convention 3.5mm headphone jack. Accessory makers have quickly churned out adapters and such for the yet-to-be-release smartphone. A Taiwanese has shown off a pair of headphones with a Lightning port, in anticipation of the iPhone 7.
Spotted at Computex Taiwan 2016, the Axpro Lightning (AXP8852, AXP8854) is a High-Res Audio headset that packs a built-in DAC and Lightning Connector.
Weighing about 200g, the on-ear headphones has 40mm drivers with comfortable foam cushions, and comes with a built-in 120cm cable.
If you want to use your existing headphones, Axpro also has a Lightning to 3.5mm jack converter. It features a built-in DAC and comes with an 18cm cable.
Axpro Technology Inc is a memory products maker based in Taiwan, focused on DRAM modules and Flash peripherals.
