OPPO R17 Pro Emerald Green limited edition is coming

OPPO R17 Pro Emerald Green

OPPO’s latest smartphone – the OPPO R17 Pro is set to be revealed tomorrow, but ahead of its launch the China phone maker has announced a limited edition colourway. If Radiant Mist isn’t your thing, then you may just love the Emerald Green option. OPPO says the additional colour option will have “limited availability.”

Without a doubt, the OPPO R17 Pro looks to be one of OPPO’s most beautiful devices. While it will not wow you like the Find X would, the OPPO R17 Pro will still stun you with its gradient colours and curved edges.

It rocks a 6.4-inch FHD+ 19.5:9 display (2340×1080) with a waterdrop notch. It pushes 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and it’s the world’s first to use Gorilla Glass 6.

OPPO R17 ProIt comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock.

Inside, the OPPO R17 Pro uses the upper mid-tier Snapdragon 710 chip coupled with 8GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of storage.

But forget all that, because the OPPO R17 Pro is all about the camera. Not really a surprise since the R-series has always had pretty strong cameras.

It uses a triple camera setup on the rear: a 12MP f/1.5-2.4 main shooter with variable aperture, mated to a 20MP f/2.6 sensor and a dedicated 3D depth sensor.

Around the front, it gets a huge 25MP selfie shooter.

OPPO R17 Pro Emerald GreenSimilar to Huawei’s mind-blowing Night Mode on the P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro, the OPPO R17 Pro boasts something similar. Called Ultra Night Mode, the low-light mode looks like it’s got potential.

The phone comes with a 3,700mAh battery that charges via USB Type-C and even supports SuperVOOC fast-charging. As seen on the OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition, it can charge from 0-40 percent in just 10 minutes.
