The official OnePlus Malaysia store on Lazada first offered the device for pre-order over a week ago. If you’ve missed that window, unfortunately it’s out of stock for now. The limited edition phone retails at MYR3,388. A regular OnePlus 6T goes for MYR2,458 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, MYR2,738 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version, and MYR2,989 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
It’s no secret that OnePlus has gone upmarket with its devices. A far cry from when it entered the scene with the original OnePlus One. So, no more the affordable “flagship killer” which helped the brand build a cultish following around. That said, the brand is still an alternative flagship.
If you don’t care about having the best camera, or wireless charging, or IP-rated dust- and water-resistant, that is. Elements that are continued to be ignored by OnePlus. These are compensated with top notch hardware, though.
There’s of course the “there’s-no-such-thing-as-too-much-RAM” 10GB of memory, the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, and this ground-breaking rapid charge technology formerly known as Dash Charge.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren has everything the standard 6T has, this includes the 6.41-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and 256GB of storage.
It does however come in a beautiful box, with carbon fibre motif and McLaren’s iconic Papaya Orange.

The device itself features a carbon fibre design back with McLaren Papaya Orange accents.
It gets a 3,700mAh battery that supports OnePlus’ new 30W Warp Charge (5V 6A). OnePlus claims you can get a 50 percent charge in just 20 minutes.
In terms the camera, the OnePlus 6T comes with a 16MP f/1.7 + 20MP f/1.7 dual camera system.
