The Rio 2016 or officially known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad is kicking off tomorrow, 6 August 2016. This celebration of sport and the human spirit will take flight with the official ceremony taking place in Rio De Janiero, at 7.00AM (Malaysian Time). Here’s how you can catch the games, even if you don’t have cable TV.
HyppTV is offering seven channels dedicated to streaming the Olympic Games, for free. These channels are made available for you who have downloaded the HyppTV Everywhere mobile app from Google Play or App Store, which is also free.
The fantastic thing is that you don’t need to be a UniFi customer or a HyppTV subscriber. Just download the app, register for free (you can connect via Facebook) and that’s it. You’ll have complete unlimited free access to live streams on your mobile device or computer.
Once you’ve registered and logged in, head over the “Live TV” and select one of seven HyppSports HD channels.
By the way, if you’re a U Mobile subscriber and you qualify for Video-Onz, then you’ll also enjoy unlimited streaming for free without using up your data quota. Head over to U Mobile for more details.
So, now that we’ve sorted the technology part, the big challenge is waking up early to catch the opening ceremony at 7.00AM!
