Maxis CEO addresses backlash, announces enhanced MaxisONE plans with more data

Maxis CEO Morten Lundal with Dushyan Vaithaiyanthan, Maxis Head of Consumer Business earlier today made a special announcement live on Facebook to address a recent backlash against the telco, and reassure its customers.
The short announcement saw Maxis upping data quota for existing and new MaxisONE customers. Customers on its base MaxisONE 98 plan will see data quota increase from 1GB to 5GB per month. Meanwhile, customers on the 3GB plan will see this upped to 8GB.
The new enhanced plans will take effect at the end of the month.

In the meantime, all MaxisONE customers will receive free 3GB of data starting next week.

Morten reiterated that Maxis will continue to focus on building and improving it’s network, customer service and deliver value to customers.
