Increasingly, organizations are turning to business intelligence appliances which streamline into a single system which helps optimize employee productivity and decision-making, thus simplifying application deployment for IT.

Microsoft’s approach is to offer a cloud-based and cloud-ready information platform to drive business intelligence. Microsoft’s familiar productivity and collaborative suites such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint deliver greater efficiency and optimization while complementing powerful IT-professional management tools like the SQL Server platform. These tools and appliances are increasingly important vehicles as organizations embrace the cloud and cloud-based services.

With pervasive business intelligence being the key word, Microsoft has partnered with HP to create a range of data management appliances.
