Machines has just launched a new device protection plan for customers in Malaysia.
The new plan dubbed the Machines Protection Plan (MPP), provides protection from accidental damage such as cracked screens and water damage on your iPhones from as low as MYR0.42 per day. The MPP allows users to enjoy one screen replacement or one full device replacement during the entire two year coverage period.
The MPP has multiple variations with prices ranging from MYR299 all the way up to MYR899. All of these depends on the different iPhone models as well as the year of purchase. Also, the MPP can be obtained from any local Machines center upon a purchase of a new iPhone.
Andrew Cheng, director of Machines stated that “the MPP is a comprehensive protection plan which allows us to give our customers the peace of mind to go about their day, reassured that they will always be protected by the MPP.” Cheng also added that Machines will be extending the MPP with iPhone products purchased from other third party sources, such as telcos.
The MPP allows users to claim the aforementioned one screen replacement or one full device replacement under the two year coverage period.
Ontop of that, users can also claim one rechargeable battery replacement within the same two year period. The list below shows the price range for the MPP specified for different iPhone models.

Full Device Replacement Service Fee Price List under MPP (per Device)
The MPP also provides coverage for parts and labor cost. But for a full device replacement claim however, there will be an additional service fee to be paid on top of the MPP coverage plan. As an example, if users are to do a full device replacement, they would have to pay a service fee of MYR299.

Do take note that a rechargeable battery replacement is only applicable when the rechargeable battery cannot be charged beyond
50% and is subject to a service fee for one time rechargeable battery repair or replacement.
