Lenovo launches Student Ambassador Programme

Lenovo ThinkBook 14

Lenovo has introduced its Lenovo Student Ambassador Programme in Malaysia designed to unearth the potential in students, boost personal development, and encourage them to be involved in meaningful programmes during this challenging time.

The programme is targeted at full-time students who actively engage in on-campus activities and are experienced in using social media. Selected students will enjoy perks, of course. They will get first-hand updates from team leads of Lenovo Malaysia through Lenovo Tech Talks on the latest products and innovation from the world’s leading PC and smart device maker. Additionally, there will be Q&A sessions during these online talks that will cover entrepreneurship skills.

That aside, there is also an element of mentorship in the programme. The Lenovo team will host distance learning sessions with students sharing out-of-the-textbook knowledge and skills such as how to network with professionals, manage stress, maintain inner strength, and adapt to new ways of living.

“The traditional form of education has seen a digital transformation, with more schools adopting virtual classrooms and distance learning already becoming a normal mode of education. Couple this with our way of living virtually in light of recent events, along with an audience that is essentially born into technology, Lenovo seeks to provide “Smarter Technology For All” and enhance the digital learning experience of students so they can fully benefit from distance learning even in these unprecedented times,” said Varinderjit Singh, general manager of Lenovo Malaysia.

As a selected student ambassador, they will enjoy benefits such as being featured in the Quarterly Student Ambassador newsletter as well as be awarded with a signed certificate of participation to add to their resume.
