Ahead of the official launch of Lenovo’s latest flagship 4G LTE-enabled Android smartphone – the Vibe Z (K910) on 12 March 2014, Celcom has listed 15 March as its own launch date. The Vibe Z is Lenovo’s first ever 4G LTE smartphone.

According to its website, Celcom will be holding a launch at Blue Cube @ Sunway, Oasis Boulevard, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall on 15 March 2014. The blue telco will be running an exclusive offer for the 1st 30 customers, where the Vibe Z can be picked up for just RM688, when signed up with any Celcom First with mPro Plan. Purchasers will also get a RM50 shopping voucher.

None of the other major telcos list the Vibe Z on their websites currently.

The Vibe Z is Lenovo’s latest flagship, a successor to the highly-acclaimed K900. The Vibe Z packs a 2.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p (@ 401PPI) IPS display, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, 16GB storage and 3,000mAh battery. The device runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.

In January, Lenovo launched its mid-range Vibe X in the Malaysian market.

Will this be a single SIM or dual-SIM version? And how much may the Vibe Z cost sans contract? RM1,499? RM1,899? We’ll see in a little bit.
