After a week of pre-orders, the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and Apple Watch Series 3 are officially in stores starting today, 20 October. The devices are available for purchase on the Apple Online Store, Apple authorised resellers, telco and retail partners.
The base model iPhone 8 with 64GB of storage retails for MYR3,649, while on the top-end, the iPhone 8 Plus 256GB will set you back MYR4,899.
Apple retains the iPhone 7, iPhone 6s and iPhone SE in its line-up, so there’s something for everyone, at different price points and screen sizes.
The ground-breaking iPhone X isn’t available yet, interested customers will have to wait till November before that happens. Apple in the meantime, has revealed official Malaysian pricing for its flagship: 64GB variant for MYR5,149, while the 256GB variant goes for MYR5,899.

To recap, the iPhone 8 series is an evolution of the previous gen iPhone 7. While looking a lot like its predecessor, it now comes with a super durable glass body that enables wireless charging.
Under the hood is where the magic lies, with a spanking new Apple A11 Bionic chip, the most powerful mobile SoC in the market today.
The 4.7-inch iPhone 8 rocks an all-new 12MP sensor with deeper pixels, colour filter and wider dynamic range, coupled with a f/1.8 aperture lens with OIS.
The bigger 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus has a dual-camera 12MP setup, comprising a f/1.8 wide-angle lens and f/2.8 telephoto lens, with both featuring OIS.
The two devices run the latest iOS 11 and they come in Space Grey, Silver and new Gold.

Apple Watch
For the Apple Watch, there are several flavours of Series 3 with GPS and a Nike+ option, while retaining the affordable Series 1 in the lineup.
Apple Watch is offered in either 38mm or 42mm case sizes.
The Apple Watch Series 3 and Nike+ with aluminium case and Sport Band retail for MYR1,549. There are various band styles and colours to choose from, starting from MYR219 for the sport loop and sport band, leather loop from MYR719, all the way up to a Space Black Link Bracelet at MYR2,499.
There’s no word if the cellular version of the Apple Watch is coming to Malaysia, at this point.
